Please join Rev. Dr. Reginald Broadnax and the members of the Mt. Olive AME Zion Church this Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 10am as we celebrate MLK Sunday with special guest preacher Rev. Dr. Allison Lee, the Social Justice Editor of the Star of Zion.

Dr. Allison Nicole Lee, a North Carolina native, is a passionate educator, advocate, servant leader, and woman of God.

Dr. Lee currently serves as the Minister of Christian Education at Trinity AME Zion Church in Greensboro, NC under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Daran H. Mitchell. Dr. Lee also serves as the Connectional Advisor to the Varick International Christian Youth Council; and is the Social Justice Editor for the Star of Zion. Professionally, Dr. Lee serves as a Chaplain at Duke University Hospital and an adjunct professor at Guilford Technical Community College.

Dr. Lee received her Bachelor of Arts at North Carolina State University (Raleigh, NC) in Political Science (Law and Justice), and her Master of Theological Studies at Hood Theological Seminary (Salisbury, NC). She is a 2021 graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations. Dr. Lee is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
